Hello,

I want to display a list of PDF documents on a web page.  When a user clicks on a PDF, the PDF will open within the same browser window.  Then, at the bottom of the PDF, I'd like to have a "Return" type button to return the user to the web page where the list of PDF documents is.

I've tried different types of code, within a button, but it doesn't work.

javascript:history.back();
history.back();
window.history.back();
window.history.go(-1);

Am I doing something wrong or is this not possible within PDF's?

Thanks in advance,
Sam

PDFs do not have a lot of OS interface. You will have to train your users to use the browser's back button.

You might be able to send a code through the Soap interface and have the browser or web server perform the back action.

PDF also work when not opened in a browser, so you may need to account for this occurrence.
