    Posted: 13 Oct 2018 at 9:59am
Hi,

i'm using the PDFSDK Professional Active-X 5.4.0.1031 with Form-Function within Access 2003 (VBA)

I simply want to load a PDF File and rename all Formfields.
The PDFFormField.name Property is read only.
Is there another way to rename a Formfield?

Thanks for all your help...

Add a new field, copy the properties of the existing field to the new field, then delete the old field if necessary.

Is there no other way?

There are Javascript-Actions to copy,
i couldn't find a method to GetJavaScriptAction,
just SetJavaScriptAction.

I use the "Mouse up" Action to write back Values to a Summary-Table
I use the "On/lost Focus" Actions to highlight the fields

When you change the field names you must also change the Javascript code.

Sure, but that's not my Problem.
Why isn't it possible to rename Fields?

When the property is read-only you can't change it.
