Hi, I'm having two weird problems.

I have a 400+ pg. PDF (a book) that was built in inDesign CS4.
It looks fine in inDesign, but when I export, several pages have hyphens shifting (colliding) into the previous letters.

I've tested using a soft-return and adding hyphens and spacing manually for some pages, but I wonder if it is just an export problem?

Also, the 400+ pages was assembled from several smaller PDFs in Mac Preview.
I don't know if this anything to do with it though.

The Problem I'm having with outer glows is that when the glow overlaps text a bit, there is some crazy spacing issues happening or text just disappearing. I went in my file manually and butchered it by outlining all the text that appears around the outer glows, and it displays fine in PDFs now.

But anyone know why the glows would mess up the text like that in the first place?

Thanks for any help!
