Hello,

I'm trying to figure out a way to easily detect the presence of private use unicode characters in pdfs -- it seems that the presence of these characters sometimes causes problems when I try to apply accessibility tagging.

Is there any way to quickly check for them?  I've been able to find the range of unicode characters that I'm looking for from the private use unicode wiki page
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_Use_%28Unicode%29 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_Use_(Unicode)  - but so far I can't see an easy way to get at the unicode # for my text characters.

I was hoping for some preflight check -- I've got a bunch of PDFs that I need to look for this in, and it'd be nice to do them as a batch...

I've got Acrobat 9 Pro -- anyone have any ideas?
