I have two huge PDFs. I want to print them. But before I do that, I would like to re-arrange pages in the next pattern: from 1-2-3-4, I would like it to be 1-3-2-4, then 5-6-7-8 to become 5-7-6-8, etc.

Is there a way to do this automatically, because both are over 1000 pages long? I don't have a clue how to edit PDFs, and it is extremely difficult to find how to do it automatically in the pattern I want on Google.

Thanks in advance!

Possible with Adobe Acrobat and JavaScript.

I don't know anything about it, I only know what Java is. Is there some guide how to do that? Thanks for your reply :)

Acrobat uses JavaScript not the Java computer language.

Adobe make the Acrobat JavaScript documentation freely available. - Acrobat JavaScript API Reference - movePage

Pages are numbered using the zero base logic, so page number 1 I 0. It looks like you only need to move page3 after page 1.

this.movepPage({nPage:2, nAfter:0});
