I am driving myself crazy with this one! I have a pdf form with a button that is "supposed" to open an excel file. This excel file is a log sheet that we have to open to track information relative to the pdf.

So, when I use the "open a file" action as a button, it works until you save the file. When you try the button again, the file path tries to point to the location that you saved the file (not were the log sheet is located).

Ideally, I think if I had a script, it would not be able to override that command.

I have also tried this script as opposed to the "action"

app.openDoc("/U/SharedDocs/@ Projects/_New/Submittals/Submittal Log.xlsx");

Please help :)

When opening non-PDF files, you must specify the bUseConv parameter as true.
