    Posted: 10 Mar 2018 at 2:05pm

I have a pdf form I am creating where I want an input field to influence a text field. Lets say there is a input field that says

Name: FirstName

When it gets populated with input from the user, further down in the document, the value will change amongst static text. Such as:

"Today we can see FirstName driving down the street"

The text within the textbox will change accordingly to the value within the input field. I have tried multiple solutions using javascript, but I can not seem to get it correct. The static text around the input will have to adjust accordingly to the dynamic text, so that the length of the name does not matter.

Any ideas?

Text fields with the same field name will assume the value of a field with the same name. Note this applies to Acrobat forms, which is very different from PDF forms created with LiveCycle.
