Is there any way that I can have Acrobat generate PDF files based on a master file?
We have a weld log form that is numbered and filled out with with information on the type of weld. Is there a version of Acrobat, or a plugin I could use, that would let me generate new PDFs that also update the weld number? Like if I have a weld log PDF that has a text field with "1.25F-0875-01", could I have it produce pages "1.25F-0875-02" through "1.25F-0875-10"? So basically duplicate the original file and rename a text field sequentially. I use Acrobat 9, and my co-workers use XI. |

Yes, it's possible, but would require a custom-made script developed.
If you're interested in hiring someone to develop it for you, feel free to contact me privately (see contact info below). |
