I have got DVD contains some pdf files about engine literature. but when i copied it into PC it wont open. I noticed the file was corrupted or incomplete.

please advise me about this problem.

You might want to provide more details about your problem.

I have copied whole directories from a LAN network drive to CD/DVD and even mass copied the directories to web sites.
 
Are the files linked to one another?
 
There could be some special DRM or other check to see if the files have been moved from the source.
 
Can you copy the DVD and still have it work?

as i said i can not copy it into another place, if i copy it to other place any pdf file will be corrupted. nothing problem when i open it from dvd directly

Sounds like a scheme designed to stop people sharing the PDF files (except by giving the whole DVD). If so, it's working as designed.

If you purchased the DVD the vendor probably does not want others to freely distribute the PDFs and has some type of anti copying program or has applied some DRM, Digital Rights Management, to enforce this restriction. Sort of like an electronic copyright enforcement.
