Hi,

I am trying to work through the example BASICIAC from the SDK c# examples.

I am trying to use the code

using System;

using System.Collections.Generic;

using System.ComponentModel;

using System.Data;

using System.Drawing;

using System.Linq;

using System.Text;

using System.Windows.Forms;

using Acrobat;

namespace AcorbatClasses

{

public partial class Form1 : Form

{

private CAcroApp mApp;

public Form1()

{

InitializeComponent();

}

private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)

{

mApp = new AcroAppClass();

}

}

}

I get the errors
Error 1 The type 'Acrobat.AcroAppClass' has no constructors defined
Error 2 Interop type 'Acrobat.AcroAppClass' cannot be embedded. Use the applicable interface instead.

Can anyone advise what i am doing wrong?

Most common cause of this: assuming that all of the Acrobat SDK is supported by Adobe Reader.

And if it isn't that, sorry, no idea, I never used C#.

I dont think it is, cause the examples in C# in the SDK Zip file use pretty much the same code, but work :)

Thanks though.

Anyone else any ideas?

Sorry, don't quite follow your reply. Do you mean that you DO only have Adobe Reader?
